Join us for a fun and creative evening as local artists Susan & Charlie Frye of Frye Studios guide you step-by-step through creating your own masterpiece—no experience necessary!
With over 18 years as full-time professional artists, Susan and Charlie have taught thousands of aspiring artists of all ages and have been featured in Our State, Walter, WNC, and Foothills Digest magazines, as well as on NC Weekend and Life in the Carolinas. Their popular Paint & Sip events are designed to be relaxed, encouraging, and enjoyable for everyone.
Unlike many paint classes, there are no pre-drawn canvases. Susan and Charlie will teach you techniques that help you create your painting from start to finish while making the process approachable and fun. They provide all painting supplies, including table coverings—just bring yourself, grab your favorite Brewery 99 beverage, and get ready for a memorable night of creativity!
Whether you're planning a date night, gathering with friends, or simply looking to try something new, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind, socialize, and take home a unique piece of art.

Supporting a Great Cause
All proceeds raised before and during the event — with one exception — will be donated to the Scottish Rite Masons Foundation on behalf of the RiteCare Scottish Rite Childhood Language Program. This program provides critical speech, language, and reading therapy services for children across North Carolina.
This charity was selected in honor of our bass player (and pork provider), Adam, who is an active Mason and passionate supporter of the organization’s mission.
The only exception is that participating bands will be allowed to accept tips and sell merchandise during the festival to help offset travel and performance expenses.
