The ownership, management and staff love that Brewery 99 is a welcoming place for people of all ages and their dogs. Our goal is to brew excellent beer and offer that beer with great baked goods. We want this space to also be dog and family-friendly since we have staff with young kids & pets and appreciate venues that allow us to enjoy great beer and not require hiring a babysitter. That was working until some recent incidents that have forced us to make some changes.
We love being "Family Friendly,” but please keep in mind that our establishment primarily serves alcohol and caters to adults, making it an adult environment.
The Brewery 99 Taproom is the first new construction in this area in over a decade, with large glass doors and concrete floors. It is not a playground. Just like all other restaurants, bars and breweries, there is no running or climbing allowed...at any age. Our staff are there to make the experience of everyone who walks through our doors a positive one. They are not there to take over the responsibilities of the adults in charge of minors who come in with them.
Most of our customers already follow these rules. Most of the parents who bring their children follow the expectations of behavior in public settings so our new policy will not affect your visits to Brewery 99.
Moving forward, if anyone in your group is found to be running, climbing, misusing games or being disruptive to other patrons at Brewery 99, our staff will let you know with a warning about the concerning behavior. If the behavior persists, our staff will close out your tab and ask you to leave. We will need you to follow through so the misbehaving children will know and learn that there are consequences to unsafe behavior and not following rules put in place to keep everyone safe at the brewery.
We love your dogs too! And Barley loves having company in the taproom! However, to ensure a pleasant experience for all our patrons, we kindly ask that dogs be leashed and under control at all times. While we love their company, if a dog displays aggression, excessive barking, or disruptive behavior towards others, we may need to kindly request that you and your pup enjoy the rest of your day elsewhere. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you and your well-behaved canine companion!
We appreciate your support and patience as we implement this policy moving forward.
